It was very interesting for me to read this post, because as you travel through the world (in my case Brazil) you realize that the open-innovation, cooperation and co-creation are not only becoming more common in business and non-business environments, but are also actively being looked for, as part of a company's strategy to stay ahead of competition! It is about discovering new connections that add value to each other, and especially to stakeholders that we didn't see before - an example is a big Coating & Paint company that engaged in a co-creation process with its stakeholders: by mapping all their stakeholders and interacting with them, they discovered the incredible influence that architects and interior designers have on the choices made by their clients.
And this is what I find great, it is indeed not only about win-loose situations, you can really have a win-win option, without having to be supported by ideals of cooperation that companies never felt of embracing before, it is now each time more obvious that cooperation and open dialogue is (and must be) the way to success and yes, a fairer and sustainable society. Looking forward to your next post!
